The Last Elastic Cord Games That I Played, digital print, 222x79.5cm, 2012

Playing with a long elastic cord was quite a serious sport for me when I was little.
The time spent with my friends, singing and jumping over the cord, is still one of my precious childhood memories,
and this piece expresses those exact moments of joy.
As the work title shows, the piece is about the very last day I played with an elastic cord.
While doing the hardest jumps, I fell on the ground and broke my front tooth.
I've never played with an elastic cord again.

친구들과 함께 한 고무줄 놀이는 나에게 소중한 추억이며 단순한 놀이 이상의 진지한 활동이였다.
이 장면은 마지막으로 고무줄 놀이를 하는 모습인데, 이 날 나는 가장 난이도가 높은 부분에서 무리를 하다 넘어져 앞니가 부러졌다.
그 후 나는 다시는 고무줄 놀이를 하지 않았고 나의 고무줄 놀이는 이렇게 끝이 났다.
